Help me?

I am sorry to use you all for my own personal satisfaction (and not even in a sexual manner, shame on me) but there's this song...

"I'm in love with your potential, I'm in love with what you could be baby."

It was played on Real World Key West, I can't get it out of my head and despite repeatedly typing the lyrics into Google with minor variations, I cannot find even a clue as to how to go about illegally downloading it.

And, by the way, I don't really watch Real World. My roommate had it on.

Maybe I paused in the front of the television.

(I'm not sure why I'm being defensive about The Real World when I am so unabashed in my love for the trashtastic Flavor of Love).

I too am a reality show junkie. I feel much better having confessed. However, I do draw the line sometimes (like the ice skating with the stars, dancing with the stars, etc.) I want real life (ha ha) drama.
And yes, I too, am waiting to see what the chick with all the issues on Read World will do next. EAT SOMETHING????
So New York or Hoopz?

Wow, that really is hard to find. Maybe it's a song someone just made up, and it isn't published. Otherwise, it's pretty easy to find lyrics/artists.

Shows like that are mostly guilty pleasures for me. Why is watching bad tv a guilty pleasure? Lol. Oh well, it works for me, and if it works for you, too, more power to us, right? Lol. Good luck with the lyrics. Keep blogging. : )

It is amazing to me how popular The Real World is when no one seems to be watching the show, but merely "glancing as I walked by"! But who am I to poke fun given all the hours I spent up late watching reruns of Love Boat when I was in school years ago.

paula TOTALLY ate a hot dog (but not the bun) last night.

and flav has to go with hoopz. if only so we can all see new york have a major meltdown. again.

I am really torn about Flav going with Hoopz, only because she seems somewhat "normal" which he is definitely not. But yes, I am all for seeing new york have a meltdown. It's so much fun! And what's with her always talking with her eyes closed?
And I am not so sure I saw Paula eat the hot dog...it looked like she was making it look like she ate it. I don't know...I have my doubts.
OHMIGOD, I've lost control of my own reality.

Kudzu? You mean that little comic bird wrote a song. Well I'll be damned...

Being a complete reality junkie, I watch both shows.

Paula freaks me out, what was up with her melt down on that one guy? She makes me uneasy!

And my vote is still for Bridgette with Flav, these bitches don't hand a candle to her weirdness.

What the heck is Hoopz and New York? I was sure one was a city... Wow, I'm so out of the loop, I dont even know my celebrities anymore.

doc slm said...

totally agree with brigette for flav!
oddly enough there is something really likable about Flav.
Anyone what Surreal Life? This new one should be great!

I am having a typing disfunctional kind of day today. Lack of sleep is my excuse (not from just walking by and happening to see a bit of reality tv by mistake and then not being able to stop myself from being sucked into the reality vortex)

i heart flavor of love, in a drug-addicted way, (at first) due to hoopz, but then the fascinating dynamics of culture, race, education, intelligence, superficiality, standards of beauty. ah, i can't wait until sunday. vh1 dicks are genius. the real world, though, is getting tedious. we've all seen their profiling. (majority) abercrombie&bitches with one or two racial or sexual orientation minorities.

but yes, i want to track that song down, too...

ditto to the guy above me, though only read the first couple ones so far. *will be linking you, too*

Please feel free to use me for your personal satisfaction anytime you have the urge. If mental imagery works for you - I am currently naked apart from the kettle I have strapped to my head.
The song in question is by a albanian trio of pig farmers called 'Spunkychips'. Unfortunately they split up in the 1970's after two of the members decided to pursue careers in the then burgeoning hitman market. The song is called 'wwrnigtoinstwat' (albanian for 'paper carrots') and is downloadable at www.whatsthefuckingpointofalbanian.com

... because Real World is tired, repetitive, and just so mid-90's. Flavor of Love is significant.

(had to check the comments to see if anyone had already done that one)
