I think the re-design is lovely, however the lack of left hand margin is weird. I mean, I love your blog and will deal, I just always feel like I need to scroll over.
I agree with Jacque, the header looks fantastic, but lack of left-margin is disconcerting. Other than that, the overall appearance of the new look totally fits your blog much more than the old theme. Nice work, Re-boyfriend (or Rebo, as Dawn Coyote has prroposed! I like your thinking!)

You should try slicing the picture up a bit, if you can. So it loads faster... meh. But it's awesome anyway.
